Does SENTIENT ship nationwide?
Yes. SENTIENT ships custom furniture throughout the United States with white-glove delivery and professional installation. Our shipping partners specialize in handling high-value, handcrafted furniture. Whether you’re in New York City or across the country, your piece arrives protected and gets installed exactly where it belongs. Contact us for a delivery estimate to your location.
What is SENTIENT’s white-glove delivery service?
SENTIENT’s white-glove delivery means your furniture is professionally packed, transported, brought inside your home or commercial space, unpacked, placed in position, and all packaging materials are removed. Our delivery teams handle stairs, elevators, and tight spaces. For commercial projects, we coordinate with building management on delivery schedules, service entrances, and installation timing.
Does SENTIENT ship internationally?
Yes. SENTIENT has completed projects internationally, including work in Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East. International shipping is quoted per project based on destination, dimensions, and customs requirements. We work with experienced international freight partners who specialize in fine furniture. Reach out to discuss international delivery for your project.
How is SENTIENT furniture packaged for shipping?
SENTIENT custom-packs every piece for transit. Furniture is wrapped in protective blankets, enclosed in custom-built crating when necessary, and secured for transport. Live edge slabs and large tables receive extra reinforcement. Our packaging is designed to prevent any movement during transit. We’ve shipped thousands of pieces across the country without incident because we don’t cut corners on protection.
How long does delivery take after my furniture is completed?
Once your SENTIENT piece is finished, delivery typically takes one to two weeks depending on your location. NYC and tri-state deliveries can often be scheduled within days. Cross-country and international shipments require more lead time for logistics coordination. We’ll give you a specific delivery window and keep you informed throughout.
Can SENTIENT coordinate delivery for large commercial projects?
Yes. SENTIENT regularly manages multi-piece deliveries for hotels, restaurants, and commercial spaces. We coordinate with building management, general contractors, and project managers on delivery scheduling, service entrance access, and phased installation. For large hospitality projects, we can stage deliveries across multiple locations and dates. Learn about our commercial capabilities.
What happens if furniture is damaged during shipping?
SENTIENT takes full responsibility for your furniture until it’s safely installed in your space. In the rare event of transit damage, we will repair or replace the piece at no additional cost. Our careful packaging and experienced delivery partners make damage extremely uncommon, but if something does happen, we handle it. That’s part of our commitment to the client experience.
Is there an additional charge for delivery?
Delivery costs depend on your location, the size and weight of the furniture, and access requirements at your site. SENTIENT provides a delivery estimate as part of your project quote so there are no surprises. For NYC and tri-state area deliveries, costs are typically lower due to proximity to our Brooklyn workshop. All delivery details are discussed and confirmed before production begins.
