Sales & Trade Representative

Full-time | Entry Level

Core Responsibilities

  • Work within a designated team to manage the full sales cycle for retail and trade clients
  • Educate clients about the SENTIENT philosophy to help grow the brand in designated markets
  • Collaborate with the Senior S&D Representative on researching and developing new business through networking and outreach
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline by effectively utilizing company tools

Preferred Skills

  • Strong time management and organizational skills that allow you to receive, follow up and follow through on all incoming sales leads 
  • The ability to strategize, research and outreach for the purposes of new business development, primarily in the Trade sector
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that allow you to meet with existing and prospective clients through tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and face to face
  • Group presentation skills that allow you to present designs and projects to A&D clients 
  • Self-motivated and ambitious individual with the ability to make decisions within company guidelines
  • The ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with towards singular visions



  • Self-driven with an entrepreneurial spirit and results-oriented
  • Comfortable working solo or as part of a team
  • Strong social skills and comfortable presenting in small and large groups
  • Takes ownership of their business and responsibilities, treating it as “their own business” under the company umbrella
  • Organized and effective time manager
  • Ability to travel locally for projects and meetings, as needed
  • Positive attitude, constructive mindset and problem-solving skills


Preferred Experience

  • Educational background in Interior or Industrial Design
  • Minimum 3 years prior sales experience
  • Experience utilizing rendering software(s) such as but not limited to AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and SketchUp
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
