Peter Shire, active since the seventies and a member of the Memphis Group, has found a resurgence with the younger designers in the last few years, so it’s only appropriate that his ceramic work was on display at this chic gallery in whats left of the slowly, yet quickly, gentrifying Chinatown. Relocated from Chelsea, Derek Eller Gallery is located at 300 Broome St, and the show is on view through Oct. 9th.
