Ákos believes that the experimental approach is essential to developing designs in a fresh, unusual, and unique way. The design process starts with material research, sketches, and model studies. His work is located at the intersection of art, design, and architecture. He is engaged in finding connection between tradition and innovation, craft, and technology and strives for designing objects that alloy local values with universal meaning. Unexpected material combinations and sustainable solutions also play an important role in his work. Besides these Ákos interprets drawing as an autonomous activity.
