Lachmee Chin joined the organization in 2005 to lead the Interior Design division. Ms. Chin’s persistence and tireless attention to clients matured into the driving ideal of interior design at ODP.
Lachmee’s diverse heritage and background in fine art are the foundation on which she builds the culturally-rich finesse necessary in this era of globally-inspired design. She enjoys pushing the boundaries of design to deliver environments crafted for purposeful use and enjoyment.
When asked to share her inspiration, Chin mentions her clients. “ I bring the vision of a home to life after spending a great deal of time listening to my clients, understanding their lifestyles and what matters the most to them in a home. Each project is a unique exploration which is why my work is so diverse.”
Mrs Chin’s work has been published in Miami Home & Décor, The Robb Report, and The Four Seasons Magazine Home & Designs. Most recently, her “Juxtaposed Vision” residence was featured in “Some Like It Hot”, a coffee table book which compiles inspiring spaces by renowned interior designers in South Florida.
Her extraordinary spaces are exactly the type of inspiration for many of our renowned models, including the long wool sofa, the sapience chair, and the Wave luxury chaise lounge.
