Solid wood dining chairs for outdoor use

We build outdoor dining chairs in weather-resistant hardwoods with marine-grade finishes and stainless steel hardware. Outdoor models are available with quick-dry mesh, Sunbrella fabric, or slatted wood seats. The construction is reinforced for exposure to sun, rain, and temperature swings without compromising the design.

Upholstery Options

Dining chair upholstery is fully customizable. We work with performance fabrics, full-grain leather, bouclé, velvet, and COM (customer’s own material). Seats, backs, and arms can be upholstered independently. For commercial projects, we specify hospitality-grade fabrics rated for 100,000+ double rubs. Foam density and seat firmness are adjustable to match the setting.

The Parsons chair is a clean rectangular frame, fully upholstered. We build it in any fabric or leather, with options for nail-head trim, contrast welting, and custom leg finishes.

Wishbone chairs

Our interpretation of the wishbone chair uses steam-bent solid wood for the curved back and a hand-woven cord or upholstered seat. Available in walnut, oak, and ash.

Slat-back chairs, Cross-back chairs, and ladder-back chairs

Slat-back, cross-back, and ladder-back chairs are popular for restaurant seating. We build these in solid hardwood with reinforced joints for commercial durability. Seats available in wood, rush, or upholstered pads.

Louis XVI chairs

Our Louis XVI chairs feature carved frames in solid hardwood with upholstered seats and backs. Available in painted or natural wood finishes.

Windsor chairs

Windsor chairs are turned and assembled in solid wood with steam-bent backs. We offer traditional and contemporary variations in walnut, oak, maple, and ash.

Cherner chairs

The Cherner-style chair uses molded plywood for a light, structurally efficient form. We build it in walnut and oak veneer with solid wood legs.

Sheaf-back chairs

The sheaf-back chair features a fan of vertical spindles in the backrest. We build it in solid hardwood with a contoured seat.

Bar stools

Bar stools and counter stools are available in all our dining chair styles. Heights are customizable to match any bar or counter. Swivel, footrest, and backrest options available.

We build dining chairs in American black walnut, white oak, hard maple, cherry, and ash. Each species offers distinct grain, color, and working properties. Walnut is our most requested for its rich dark tone. Oak provides durability and a lighter palette. All wood is sourced from domestic mills and kiln-dried in our facility.

Premium custom upholstery

Upholstery options include performance fabrics, full-grain leather, bouclé, linen, and velvet. For commercial settings, we specify fabrics rated for hospitality-grade durability. COM (customer’s own material) is accepted on all models.
