London Edition | Ian Schrager + Yabu Pushelberg
For the premier boutique hotel project London Edition, spearheaded by Ian Schrager + Yabu Pushelberg, SENTIENT created for this London England location, custom American black walnut sofas in luxurious green velvet, case goods and hardwood tables of various woods and specialty design as well as detailed curved upholstered banquettes for their restaurant & bar.
Miami Edition | Ian Schrager + Yabu Pushelberg
Following the design direction of Ian Schrager + Yabu Pushelberg, SENTIENT produced several large Communal tables with benches of American black walnut, cafe tables, curvilinear banquettes of walnut hardwood and two white oak Donald Judd inspired upholstered sofas for the second Edition Hotel, this one in Miami.
New York Edition | Rockwell Group
For the New York Edition design project conceptualized by Rockwell Group, SENTIENT produced several hardwood Communal oak tables, hosting stands for the bars and upholstered banquettes, in addition to coffee tables, cocktail tables, and pedestaled dining tables in walnut. It was an honor to be a part of this local upscale project.
PUBLIC Hotel New York City | An Ian Schrager Hotel
SENTIENT worked with Ian Schrager on pieces for the PUBLIC Hotel in New York City. These pieces included several squared walnut tables with benches for the LOUIS coffee shop, luncheonette, market, and pedestal tables in walnut, custom made outdoor banquettes, and Communal table, for the PUBLIC kitchen. Our New York-based studio and workshop provided us with a sense of community and pride of place.
1 Hotels Brooklyn Bridge & Central Park
Within the 1 Hotels Brooklyn Bridge & Central Park project, SENTIENT provided several live edge ‘cookie’ slabs of Spalted Maple, reclaimed wood beam coffee table in addition to custom solid wood cocktail tables. We are proud to be a part of this inspiring and nurturing space.
Nobu Hotel, Epiphany | Palo Alto
Sentient is honored to have been a part of the Nobu Hotel, Epiphany, Palo Alto design project. Producing a reclaimed solid wood beam coffee table, custom upholstered sofa with power outlets, and a solid wood indoor/outdoor communal table.
Paramount Hotel | NYC
SENTIENT worked on the redesign of this classic boutique hotel for Ian Schrager, along with venerable designer Philippe Starck. Producing custom upholstery in the lobby and the bar, as well as millwork for the rooms, we added another local project to New York, the city we call home.

At SENTIENT, we are very proud to have often played an essential part by fabricating many signature pieces for some of the world’s great hotels and commercial board and conference rooms. We have worked side by side with world-renowned design firms such as Rockwell, Ian Schrager, and many more. We have created, sketched, designed, and fabricated all kinds of custom goods and fittings for these spaces. Whether it is for a beautiful second home in Aspen, Colorado, or one of the world’s finest art galleries in PACE Gallery New York, we can provide exactly what our customers require for each and every space. We consult from beginning to end on these projects offering samples and prototypes, often following consultations at our Brooklyn workshop.
